News

30 April 2010: There are no Monday sessions currently planned in the summer. The hall is out of action due to building work on May 5th but Wednesdays will hopefully be continuing from May 12th.
28 April 2010: A long overdue update! Well done to Payne Pong (aka Craig and Ryan) for coming out on top in the PG 2-a-side league.
Congratulations also to the B team for clinching Division C. Aaron and Harry played the last match safe in the knowledge that they'd won the title but with the individual averages still in the balance with either of them or one of their opponents (Troy) able to come top. Troy beat Aaron in the first match but Harry played with a lot of courage to win his two on the night and top the averages overall.
The A team finished 4th in Division 4, a big improvement on last season but still quite a long way shy of promotion. Mark lost to Allan Stockham but may have just sneaked to the top of the individual averages after Allan reportedly lost to Rob Poole.
21 March 2010: The B team won impressively on Monday, running out 5-0 victors against Eathorpe G to cement their position at the top of the C division. The A team continued their winning streak in the return match against Rugby F. Aaron Riley managed to lose to Cameron Eddie before beating his much higher ranked older brother! Aaron and Taran secured the 6-4 victory with an excellent doubles performance. Meanwhile the Potters Green 2-a-side league is on a knife edge with three teams that can all still win with just a single doubles match remaining to be played!
12 March 2010: Some strong performances in the league have seen the A team cement their position in the top half of the table with 3rd position a realistic target. Duncan Hall registered a hatrick in an excellent 8-2 win over Rugby G, which was followed up by a 7-3 win over Free Church F (Duncan avenging his early season defeat to Lleryn) and a 9-1 win at home against Rugby F (excellent hatricks from Taran and Duncan and a brace from Aaron). The B team meanwhile have discovered some form and are set for a division deciding encounter with Eathorpe G this coming week after a series of impressive wins.
21 February 2010: The Potters Green B team are finding it slightly tougher this term following their promotion to division C. Harry, Aaron and Rich have all suffered their first defeats of the season but overall they're more than holding their own and are currently topping a tight league table after 3 wins (4-1, 3-2, 3-2) and a single defeat (2-3).
The A team are continuing their mid-table form. Aaron has made a couple of appearances for the A team, winning a couple in the process :)
18 December 2009: Congratulations to Potters Green B who won Division D of the Leamington 2-a-side league. Aaron Riley and Harry Ellis both finished unbeaten and will be eager to test themselves against Division C players next term. Aaron was at it again on Wednesday, winning the Potters Green Open Tournament by beating Rich in the final. Thanks to everyone who took part!
25 November 2009: The Unbeatables wrapped up the PGTTC 2-a-side league this week. They're yet to drop a point and with all their challengers taking points off each other, The Unbeatables now have an unassailable lead with one week still remaining.
In the Leamington League Potters Green B look set to win Division D, they play again tonight. The A team are holding their own and look set for a top half finish although promotion looks to be just beyond them. A 5-5 draw with Eathorpe D didn't hurt their chances with excellent performances from Taran in the singles and Frazer in the doubles.

09 November 2009: A perfect week last week with the A team winning 10-0 at home (gutsy performance from Taran, taking all three in five sets) and the B team winning 5-0 away. Tonight's Potters Green 2-a-side league saw some tight matches with Ashley giving Aaron a scare in the battle of the brothers!

30 October 2009: Ashley won his first league match this week against Free Church O in a 3-2 win, Aaron also won his 2. The A team drew 5-5 away to Eathorpe B, Taran earning a disciplined win in the process.

19 October 2009: The B team continued in their winning ways last week, beating Free Church S 3-2 away from home, Aaron has now won 6 from 6. The A team lost narrowly to Snitterfield B. Taran, Frazer and Duncan all picked up a singles win with Taran and Frazer managing to win the doubles in their debut as a partnership! In the PG 2-a-side league the Unbeatables look, well, unbeatable. Ashely caused the upset of the day picking up a creditable 5 set win against Josh Kane.

5 October 2009: First league win for Potters Green A as they beat W.C.C Flounders 7-3. Excellent performances from Taran and Frazer to seal the win. The B team are looking good for promotion in the 2-a-side league winning 4-1.

23 September 2009: A mixed bag for Potters Green teams in the first week of the season. The A team fell to a slightly disappointing defeat at Ashorne, 6-4. However, the B team started off in excellent fashion, winning 5-0 at home to Eathorpe H.

12 September 2009: 2009/10 Fixture list is out. Potters Green A start away to Ashorne on 21st September, Potters Green B start at home against Eathorpe H on 23rd September.

6th August 2009: The Potters Green TTC website is launched!
